Ehsan is a fifth year Ph. D. student in the lab. He grew up in Orange County, California but was born in Tehran, Iran. At Columbia, he studied and was awarded a Masters in Science degree in Biomedical Engineering (2022). He currently holds a Bachelors in Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine (June 2020), a Masters in Science, Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University (May 2022) and a Masters in Philosophy from Columbia University (May 2024). Ehsan's undergraduate research was studying functional connectivity networks in children with infantile spasms in Dr. Beth Lopour's Laboratory of Computational and Translational Neuroscience.
Ehsan loves to play basketball and Tennis in his spare time, listen to all genres of music (yes, even country) and watch the latest and greatest TV shows, movies and read books. (While updating his Letterboxd and Goodreads of course). You'll catch him rooting for the Lakers, Ducks and Angels in his spare time.
